The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that production machinery operates efficiently and safely. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery, including press machines and roll former machines, to produce high-quality products. The operator will monitor the production line, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Attention to detail is essential, as the operator will also conduct quality checks using tools such as micrometers and deburring equipment. Ultimately, the Machine Operator contributes significantly to the overall productivity and quality standards of the manufacturing facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with production machinery and tools, including assembly line equipment and overhead cranes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in machine operation or a related field.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate production machinery, including press machines and mold machines, according to specifications.
• Monitor the production process, making adjustments to machinery as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products using precision tools like micrometers and deburring equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

Skills:

The required skills for this position are essential for the daily operation of machinery and ensuring product quality. Proficiency in operating assembly line equipment and press machines allows the operator to efficiently produce items while adhering to safety standards.
