We are seeking dedicated Production Workers to operate and maintain packaging machinery, ensuring the efficient and smooth processing of products. This role involves setting up and operating machinery, managing jams, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

Shifts

Multiple shifts open for operators

Night Mixer: M-TH 2pm-2am $18.85

Weekend mixer: F: 3am-5pm Sat/Sun 3am-4:30pm $19.05

Day stacker: 4am-4pm $17

Night case erector: M-W 4pm-11:15am Th 4pm-6:15am $18.85

Night stacker: 4pm-4am $17.85

Day operator M-Th 6am-4pm F 6:30a-10:30a $18

Night operator: M-W 4pm-1:15am Th 4pm-6:15am $18.85

Weekend Machine operator F-Sun 6am-7:30pm Must train on days for two weeks $19.05

Location

Broadview, IL

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery including auto packager, cutter, and filler.
• Set up machinery and adjust hoses.
• Add new film and roles to machinery.
• Adjust blades for optimal operation.
• Input orders and runs into the computer system.
• Manage and unclog jams in the machinery.
• Check products for defects.
• Operate machinery that fills, cuts, seals, and packages sauce packets and containers.
• Connect hoses to tankers and fillers.
• Climb ladders to the top of machinery and work comfortably at heights.

Essential Skills

• 1 year of GMP experience.
• 1 year of packaging experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Comfortable lifting 40 lbs individually.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual skills.
• Experience with machine operating and packaging machinery.
• Blending and batch mixing experience.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and temperature-controlled facility equipped with packaging machinery, kettles, and tanks for mixing. The environment is well-maintained, with a pleasant aroma, and requires adherence to GMP standards, including wearing hairnets, beard nets, work pants, and non-slip boots. The facility offers multiple shifts, including night and weekend options, with a warm working area near machinery and kettles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.85 - $18.85/hr.
