Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from 9th grade through their transition years within a school cooperative environment. This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week during the academic year, spanning from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027. You'll work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 30-minute duty-free lunch, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Ideal candidates bring a wealth of occupational therapy experience, particularly in educational and healthcare settings. Your background in fine and gross motor skills, as well as home health and school-based OT, will enable you to make a significant impact across the cooperative’s caseload. Your expertise will be key in supporting students’ growth and independence as they navigate pivotal academic and life transitions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Illinois OT license for the 2026/2027 school year
• Demonstrated experience with fine and gross motor skill development for school-aged students
• Previous school-based occupational therapy experience highly preferred
• Background in home health or healthcare settings is advantageous
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy interventions to students from 9th grade through transition
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and adapt treatment plans as needed
• Serve the OT needs cooperative-wide by supporting multiple schools within the system
• Maintain accurate records and support compliance with regulatory standards
