Community Mental Health Center Receptionist
Job Title: Community Mental Health Center Receptionist
Job Summary : CMHC Receptionist is responsible for:
- Greet clients and guests to the Center
- Answer and responding to a high volume of phone calls
- Check clients in and out for their appointments
- Schedule follow up appointments and process prescription refill requests
- Return calls to clients and responding to messages
- Give instructions and resource information to clients
- Insurance verification and redetermination of benefits
- Collect copays and balances for services rendered
- Enter client information/scanning patient documents
- Route faxes, making copies, data entry
Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Work Experience: Experience in Healthcare or Mental Healthcare administrative setting preferred .
Minimum Skills Needed:
- Experience with an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) System
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player, fast learner, and dependable
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks and perform with accuracy
- Effectively navigate conflict with kindness, caring, and professionalism
Job Type: Part - time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
