Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Maywood, IL, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position throughout the academic school year. This role is ideal for professionals committed to supporting student development through comprehensive psychological services in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students across grades K-12.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
• Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through mental health initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
• Valid Illinois School Psychologist certification/license.
• Experience conducting psychological assessments within K-12 settings.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.

Location: Maywood, Illinois
Assignment Duration: Contract for the full academic school year (NSY)
