Job Description:
Lead quality assurance efforts within a manufacturing environment, driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and managing quality teams to enhance operational performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors across multiple shifts

• Oversee quality processes for a key manufacturing product line

• Spend time on the shop floor identifying process improvements and quality gaps

• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams

• Analyze quality metrics (KPIs, PPM, COPQ) to drive improvements

• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001

• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives using quality tools

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield and customer satisfaction

• Support inspection processes, documentation, and productivity enhancements

• Contribute to departmental budgeting and operational strategy

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • 12 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment

  • 5 years of direct leadership experience managing teams

  • Strong background in machining and fabrication

  • Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001

  • Proven experience with quality metrics (PPM, COPQ, KPIs)

  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

  • Experience with statistical data analysis and process improvement

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change

  • Strong communication skills across shop floor and executive stakeholders

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in large-scale B2B manufacturing environments

  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ) certification

  • Experience building or improving quality data infrastructure

  • Familiarity with Power BI or advanced data visualization tools
