Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as CT Technologist. You will perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and care. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate imaging, and collaboration with radiologists and healthcare staff.

Job Description

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders, departmental protocols, and safety standards.
• Ensure proper patient identification, history-taking, and preparation prior to imaging procedures.
• Operate CT equipment and maintain image quality, adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately in patient records and maintain quality control logs.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Skills Required

• Minimum of 1 year CT Technologist experience.
• Proficiency with relevant CT equipment.
• Strong understanding of CT protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program, including military training if applicable.

Certification:

• Post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS DOH Radiology Technician License – Diagnostic with Injection.

Preferred:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM; weekends/Holiday required

Pay Rate

• Up to $71.00 per hour depending on experience
