Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar instructional support position within a school setting
• Ability to effectively assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
• Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable in working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Familiarity with supporting individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodating special needs is highly valued
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications are a plus

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
• Support students individually or in groups, reinforcing concepts and encouraging engagement
• Help maintain an organized and supportive classroom environment
• Aid in monitoring student behavior and supporting positive social interactions
• Work closely with special education staff when necessary, offering support tailored to students’ needs
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions as needed
