About the Role

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in grades K-12. This role involves planning and implementing individualized programs, delivering specialized instruction, and collaborating with general education staff to support student success.

Position Highlights

• Caseload: Resource classroom (details TBD)

• Contract Length: Through end of school year

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations

• Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred)

• State Teacher Certification: Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Teaching (preferred)

• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

• CPR certification (if applicable)

• TB screening and health clearance

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
