Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with young learners in a supportive school environment. This position is based near Joliet, IL and focuses on providing services across PK and elementary (K-8th) grades for the 26/27 school year. You’ll support a diverse cross-categorical pull-out caseload, making a meaningful impact on children’s communication skills and overall growth.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Illinois SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted
• Experience or strong interest in school-based settings and pediatric caseloads
• Knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and best practices for school-aged speech therapy
• Commitment to collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students PK–8th within a cross-categorical pull-out model
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, communication, and language disorders
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Maintain detailed progress documentation and conduct regular evaluations
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide guidance to classroom staff on effective support strategies
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Maintain compliance with state and district protocols and timelines
