We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Catering Manager to oversee catering operations at a large university account in River Forest, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives on planning, coordination, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage catering operations, executing 1–20 catered events daily
• Collaborate with the GM and Executive Chef on menu development, promotions, and special events
• Ensure smooth execution of all BEOs, maintaining high client satisfaction and operational standards
• Coach, train, and hold team members accountable to achieve excellence
• Drive efficiency, organization, and consistency across catering programs

What We’re Looking For

• Proven catering management or event operations experience
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage staff and programs
• Hands-on, responsive, and collaborative work style
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Experience in a union environment a plus, but not required
• Stable career history with clear reasons for transitions
