Quick facts- Where: Cary, IL
- When: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Pay: $23.00–$40.00 per hour (DOE)
- Field: Automated Equipment / Manufacturing
- Type: Direct hire via TekPro
- Building custom automated machinery from engineering prints.
- Performing mechanical assembly, alignment, and final machine setup.
- Debugging and troubleshooting to hit performance targets.
- Partnering with engineering on improvements and build best practices.
- Using hand tools and basic machine shop equipment for precision work.
- 2+ years of machine building or automation assembly experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
- Comfort with hand tools and basic shop equipment.
- Technical training or an associate’s degree is a bonus.
- Stable, long-term role with room to grow.
