Loan Funding Specialist

In a Nutshell: The Loan Funding Specialist is responsible for driving the review of loan pools, investor relations, the day-to-day operations and reporting of portfolio information. This position will be required to review, fund, and process the funding of all HELOC and Loan Program loans in the organization's portfolio.
The Nitty Gritty
Loan Funding: Assists with the HELOC/Loan Program's closing process by reviewing documents for compliance, completeness, and accuracy. Book new loans on the system with accuracy to assure the member's loan is set up correctly. Fund and review loans for investors and obtain any missing information requested by potential buyers in a timely fashion. Able to move funds between appropriate GL's. Additionally, able to process all prefunding change requests, insurance purchases, and ensure borrower documents are accurate and complete both pre-sending and post-receiving signed documents from borrowers.
Loan Pools/Participations: The Loan Funding Specialist will assist in the review, documentation, and examination of loan pools that the organization is looking to purchase or participate in for future portfolio management. This position will collaborate with Underwriting and Finance to provide recommendations on pool purchases and sales dictated from organizational needs. Additionally, will be responsible for the review and reconciliation of monthly reporting both received and sent to 3rd party investors and sellers. Experience and Skills:

Do you have what it takes?
- High School Diploma required. Associate degree in business, accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Preferred knowledge of Core system and lending practices.
