Shipping Clerk - $16.75/hr
Location: Paris, IL
Express Employment Professionals of Paris is partnering with a growing company in search of a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk . If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where organization and teamwork matter, this could be your next great opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate power trucks, hand lifts, high lifts, or order pickers to move materials safely between departments
- Assemble customer orders, prepare items for shipment, and verify packing lists and bills of lading
- Receive and unpack incoming materials, report damages or discrepancies
- Maintain inventory tracking and ensure everything is stored in the right place
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with other warehouse duties like breaking down cartons, folding instructions, and pulling hardware
- Complete shipping and receiving reports using a computer
- Step in to support the department when the supervisor is unavailable
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18+ and comfortable wearing required PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and ear protection)
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Some Saturdays: 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
