As a Senior Director in our Healthcare team, you will lead complex performance improvement projects, develop high-performing teams, and ensure successful client outcomes. You will manage engagement economics, quantify benefits, and develop strategies for performance improvement. Specifically, as the Healthcare Consulting Senior Director in Revenue Cycle, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of revenue cycle processes such as patient access, coding, charge capture, revenue integrity, and denial management.
  • Monitoring and improving financial metrics like reducing accounts receivable days, increasing cash flow, and minimizing bad debt.
  • Leading performance improvement engagements, fostering collaborative environments, and ensuring client success.
  • Managing engagement-wide finances including budgets, revenue forecasting, margins, invoicing, and billing.
  • Applying analytical skills to quantify benefits, identify risks, and develop improvement strategies.
  • Communicating effectively to understand challenges, tailor solutions, and set client expectations, including delivering presentations and proposals.
  • Building executive-level relationships, leading change, and identifying new business opportunities leveraging Huron's capabilities.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 10+ years of healthcare consulting or performance improvement experience.
  • Proven experience in leading revenue cycle improvement projects, including patient access, billing, coding, collections, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of strategies like process redesign, technology upgrades, workflow automation, and performance management.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, with current average travel less than 50% annually.
  • Experience supervising individuals and large teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • US Work Authorization required.
