Closets by Design is looking for enthusiastic and driven Design Sales Associates to join our growing team. In this in-home sales and design consultant role, youll meet with homeowners to create personalized storage and organization solutionsincluding custom closets, garage systems, home offices, and more.

What We Offer:

• Listed pay of $3000 to $6000 is for experienced sales reps
• Paid 16-week sales and design training with certification
• Pre-scheduled appointments with qualified leads (no cold calling)
• Flexible scheduling with hybrid remote work and local in-home visits
• Performance-based commission structure with bonus potential
• Direct 8-month track to Senior Sales Designer making up to
• Health and retirement benefits (availability may vary by location)
• Tools, samples, and design software provided

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home design consultations with residential clients
• Build rapport and perform needs assessments to understand organizational goals
• Use design software to create custom storage solutions (closets, pantries, garages, offices)
• Educate clients on products, finishes, and accessories to upsell and customize solutions
• Present design proposals and close sales in a consultative selling environment
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and lead conversion goals
• Maintain accurate records of appointments, proposals, and follow-ups
• Represent Closets by Design with professionalism and design expertise

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong interest in home organization, space planning, or interior design
• Positive, coachable mindset with the ability to follow a proven sales process
• Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and current auto insurance
• Self-motivated with time management and organizational skills
• No previous experience in design or sales requiredjust a willingness to learn and grow

Bonus Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required):

• Experience in home improvement sales , retail design , real estate staging , or kitchen/bath design
• Background in customer service , furniture sales , or showroom consultation
• Familiarity with in-home presentations and residential project planning
