Pay Rate: $47,500 – $52,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Supervisor (Service Channel) to join our team at a large food distribution center in Minooka, IL. This role is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and leading a team to support efficient warehouse and distribution functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance within a food distribution center environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for facility equipment and systems
• Ensure all machinery, conveyor systems, refrigeration units, and building systems are operating efficiently
• Lead, train, and support a team of maintenance technicians
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
• Maintain compliance with food safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure minimal disruption to production
• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory of parts and supplies
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Required: Experience in a food distribution center or similar environment
• Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems
• Experience with conveyor systems, refrigeration, and warehouse equipment is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and food-grade facility standards

• May require working in varying temperatures (including refrigerated areas)
