About Our Client
Our client for the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain opportunity is a global consumer packaged goods food and beverage manufacturer. The overall organization has production in close to 20 countries and their brands and products are distributed in over 50 countries globally.
The Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the President for one of the group's largest subsidiaries. The Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain will have full responsibility and accountability for operations, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, procurement, quality, safety, engineering, and facilities for the North America business with multisite plant operations.Job Description
- Accountable for end-to-end Supply Chain and Operations results and performance.
- Drive the organization through clear goal setting, operational steering, and execution.
- Oversee and improve all Operations and Supply Chain functions to enable timely, efficient product delivery.
- Holds full responsibility for Operations budget and capital investments.
- Set and executive the operations and supply chain vision and long-term strategy inline with the overall group strategy.
- Builds strong partnerships with internal teams, group-level functions, and external stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
- Drive an analytical data driven approach to improve cost, productivity and efficiency
- Leads talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability within the function.
- Led, mentor and motivate the operations and supply chain organization empowering change and decision making
- Regular interaction with the Chief Global Supply Chain Officer of the overall group/parent company

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management or related
- Masters or MBA preferred, but not required
- 15 -20 years of engineering, operations, and supply chain experience within food and beverage, food ingredients, consumers goods, or related
- 5 years of multisite operations and supply chain leadership with operational P&L responsibility
- Prior experience working for an international company preferred
- Hands on operational and integrated supply chain experience driving operations tactical and strategic
- Strong understanding and experience with S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), IDP, and ESG
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and unify teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment in transformation
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational excellence.
What's on Offer
Base salary $325,000 - $375,000, bonus, vacation, full benefits, 401K, holidays, relocation assistance if needed. Working with a fast paced and growing global organization that is a market leader in the food and beverage industry with well known global brand names.
