Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist

Position Highlights:

• Up to 30 hours per week
• Flexible schedule with no set weekly schedule
• Most needed availability: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Two full weeks of paid training provided (Monday–Friday, required)
• No Medical Assistant certification or license required

As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in creating positive patient experiences while assisting with clinical and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual vital signs
• Perform routine blood draws/venipuncture
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per provider orders
• Maintain lab equipment and ensure accurate documentation of lab results and quality controls
• Prepare and process labs for in-house testing or outside facilities
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and clinic communication
• Support front desk operations when needed
• Maintain a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Provide exceptional patient care and customer service

Requirements:

• Physical proof of High School Diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred
• Minimum of 3 months of relevant Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy experience in a medical setting OR completion of 180 documented externship hours
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Required Availability:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Up to 3 Saturdays per month: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation:

• $20/hour
