Job Title: Quality Lab Technician

Job Description

This position involves working within a laboratory setting, focusing on quality control and assurance. The candidate will perform various tests and document the results to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

• Check in process and finished products.

• Conduct strength/tensile testing.

• Perform measurements using a ruler down to 1/64th of an inch.

• Prepare samples for and load them into the Gas Chromatography (GC) machine and log results.

• Review products for color standards.

• Test seal strength.

• Document results of lab tests accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in quality control or laboratory testing.

• Experience in a fast-paced environment such as production, manufacturing, or food service.

• Proficient in Chemistry and Gas Chromatography (GC).

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associates degree or high school diploma with relevant quality or laboratory experience.

• Industry experience preferred, though experience from school is acceptable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Itasca, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
