Looking for Our Next Kitchen Manager!
A fresh, growing fast-casual restaurant is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead daily kitchen operations.
As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in developing the kitchen team, maintaining food quality and safety standards, controlling costs, and ensuring every guest receives a great meal.

Responsibilities
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily back-of-house operations, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, production levels, cleanliness, and organization.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, coach, schedule, and motivate kitchen team members. Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Food Quality: Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, portion standards, presentation guidelines, and company expectations.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain compliance with food-handling, sanitation, workplace safety, and health department requirements. Ensure all required records and documentation are accurate and current.
- Inventory and Ordering: Monitor inventory levels, complete regular inventory counts, place product orders, and ensure proper receiving, storage, labeling, rotation, and waste control.
- Food Cost Management: Help manage food costs through proper ordering, portion control, production planning, waste reduction, and inventory accuracy.
- Labor Management: Build effective kitchen schedules, monitor labor levels, and adjust staffing based on sales and business needs.
- Equipment and Maintenance: Ensure kitchen equipment is properly used, cleaned, and maintained. Report repair and maintenance needs promptly.
- Operational Support: Work closely with the General Manager and front-of-house leadership to maintain smooth service, strong communication, and an excellent guest experience.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, feedback, and coaching to improve team performance, food quality, speed of service, and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar restaurant kitchen leadership role
- Fast-casual restaurant experience preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, inventory management, labor management, and food cost control
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to maintain quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using restaurant management, scheduling, inventory, or POS systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
