Position Overview
As a UI/UX Designer Intern , you will collaborate closely with the product, frontend, and AI teams to design user-centered interfaces and experiences for the IBIAS platform. You’ll be involved in the full design process — from research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design — ensuring that every feature feels intuitive, accessible, and aligned with our product vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces , wireframes , and interactive prototypes for web and mobile products
- Conduct user research , journey mapping , and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate ideas into functional designs
- Develop and maintain design systems , style guides, and UI libraries
- Ensure brand consistency across all product interfaces
- Use feedback to iterate and improve design solutions
- Present design concepts and rationale to the development and leadership teams
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design , Human-Computer Interaction , Computer Science , or related field
- Proficiency in Figma , Adobe XD , or similar design tools
- Understanding of UI/UX principles , information architecture , and design thinking
- Ability to create wireframes , mockups , and interactive prototypes
- Strong attention to detail, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
- Basic understanding of frontend implementation (HTML, CSS, or React) is a plus
Preferred (Bonus) Skills
- Experience designing dashboards , analytics interfaces , or data visualization tools
- Familiarity with AI-driven products and user personalization interfaces
- Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and responsive design
- Knowledge of motion design , micro-interactions , or UI animations
- Experience working with design systems or component libraries
