Inventory Coordinator (1st Shift)
Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm (or until work is complete)
*OT may be required based on business need
What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory to maintain established accuracy goals.
Maintaining chase area, including cycle count
Conducting investigations for missing stock
Identifying and logging damaged products
Removing and logging short dated items
Putaway of product
Tasking
Perform root cause analysis with various cross operational teams
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience preferred
Ability to operate warehouse PIT equipment – Order Selector preferred
Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly
Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills
Experience with standard MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) and various systems including Oracle and WMS

Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
Anticipated hourly range: $17.60/hr. - $27.72/hr.
