Staff Accountant
Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Salary Range: $70,000+ DOE
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Work Schedule: onsite with 1 day remote available
Work Hours: 8 AM-5PM

We’re seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance every step of the way. Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in in-house or corporate accounting, ideally within a mid-sized or privately held company
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger support
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, demonstrating excellent data entry and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Sage 100 Contractor software
• Familiarity with payroll processes, union reporting, and insurance audit support
• Knowledge of WIP processes and project financial management

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate setting

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to support processes involving union reporting, payroll functions, and audits
