About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire a Regional HR Manager. This role will oversee HR operations across multiple sites, supporting both local HR teams and leadership to ensure effective execution of people-related initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to impact recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and overall employee experience in a growing, team-oriented environment.
Job Description:
The Regional HR Manager will serve as a strategic and hands-on partner to leaders across assigned locations. This role is responsible for driving HR practices that support company goals, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The position requires regular site visits and close collaboration with both management and HR staff to provide guidance, resolve issues, and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruiting efforts, interviews, and onboarding processes to ensure timely placement of qualified candidates.
- Partner with department leaders to understand staffing needs, skills, and scheduling requirements.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, benefits, payroll, performance management, and leave administration.
- Support policy enforcement, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Conduct performance reviews and assist with training and development initiatives.
- Maintain HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with safety leadership to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, and compliance documentation, including I-9s.
- Organize HR team meetings, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching.
- Promote a culture of engagement and employee relations across the region.
- Travel monthly to supported sites to provide hands-on HR support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (SPHR/PHR certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with multi-site or regional responsibilities.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency with HR systems and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to supported sites on a regular basis.
