As a Security Officer - Weekends in East Dubuque IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility grounds and perimeter paying close attention to restricted areas equipment zones and access points common to an industrial chemical location.
• Monitor entrances and exits verify authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity by following established post orders and visitor procedures.
• Support daily location operations by communicating with site personnel assisting with routine inquiries and completing required logs reports and other security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
