Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive positive behavioral change through evidence-based practices, data collection, and comprehensive assessments. You will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote meaningful progress and improve quality of life for those we serve. Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and strengths.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles tailored to each client’s needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and medical professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Educate families and team members on behavior management strategies, treatment goals, and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification.
- Demonstrated experience in behavioral therapy, working with children or individuals with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education practices, and behavioral health principles.
- Proficiency in data collection methods, patient assessment techniques, and medical documentation standards.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and managing medical records is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ability to perform intake assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop tailored intervention strategies.
