Valve Technician

Ferguson is currently seeking a Valve Technician to join our Valve & Automation Team! If you enjoy working with your hands, learning new things every day & challenging your mechanical skill then this job is for you!

Scheduled: Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and build manual valves into automated valves.
• Evaluate valves for repair and qualify repair opportunities.
• Support our team in the field by performing fast turnarounds.
• May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating machinery for fabrication and the use of cutting and drilling materials preferred.
• Valve assembly and/or valve repair experience is preferred.
• Must have excellent mechanical skills and willingness to learn new things.
• Demonstrate basic math skills, ability to calculate quantities of product on hand.
• Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Be a proponent of working in a safe environment and promote safety everyday.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must currently, have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.

Pay Range:

$17.41 - $26.11

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
