DevOps Engineer
Job Description: DevOps Engineer at Elite HVAC Heating & Air
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases.
- Implement automation tools for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications.
- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve reliability and speed.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure security measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the development process.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Certifications in relevant technologies such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, etc.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
