Job Description:

Principal Duties and Resonsibilities

Efficiently package individual cookies into the proper tray.

Efficiently hand pack cases according to established case packing configurations.

Recognize product quality issues and notify your Line Lead, Supervisor or any of member of management. Sort out and discard substandard product.

Assist with change overs in an efficient manner according to the production schedule.

Understand and comply with the allergen policy.

Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color code system.

Understand the scrap procedures and assist in the removal of line waste.

Follow and promote all safety policies.

Assist with training of employees.

Maintain a clean work area and execute any duties assigned.

When performing take off, check and monitor code dates are on packages, seals, product, film quality, and ensure that corresponding labels are correctly positioned on the packages.

Notify Maintenance, Line Lead or Team Lead of any repairs or adjustments needed in your area.

Perform all duties necessary to meet Safe Quality Food (SQF), Company, and/or Regulatory requirements/standards as prioritized by the Company.

Report any Food Safety or Food Quality concerns to the appropriate personnel, as well as, follow quality and safety programs policies/procedures themselves in order to ensure products made here meet the highest standards possible.
