This position will be located at our **Mission Systems Sector** in **Rolling Meadows, IL** . The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's **Targeting & Survivability (T&S) Division.** **You'll Have an Opportunity to:** + Research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment, systems, and products such as but not limited to circuitry components, sensors/antennas, transmitters/receivers, analog and digital computer **Basic Qualifications** A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: + Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026 + Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related STEM degree + Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026. + Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) **Preferred Qualifications:** + Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher + A current/active DoD Secret clearance + It will be helpful, though not required, for your course work to have included: + Analog, Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, RF, PCB (printed circuit boards), CCA (circuit card assembly), EMI/EMC testing (Electromagnetic interference/compatibility), HDL, Power Amplifier, PA, Transmitter, MATLAB, DVT, PCB, FPGA, DC/DC, AC/DC + Demonstrated capability or experience in leading small to moderately sized teams during the product development process + Demonstrated application of innovative solutions to complex problems that arise within the design, development, and production phases + Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills including experience presenting at design reviews **Intern Pay Range:** Bachelor's: $19.75 to $36.25 per hour Master's: $35.50 to $44.75 per hour At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative. campusjobs Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
