Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Dayshift: 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday
• On-call rotation required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license with eligibility to practice
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a plus
• Proficiency in perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and surgical procedures
• Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
• Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-specialty OR environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring proper equipment, supplies, and instruments are ready for each procedure
• Scrub and circulate for various surgical cases, maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative period, communicating effectively within the surgical team
• Document all aspects of care according to facility guidelines and regulatory standards
• Respond to emergencies and unexpected patient needs during surgery
• Support patient and family education and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and staff meetings
