Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School-Based Physical Therapist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Chicago, IL. This contract role focuses on providing skilled physical therapy services within a K-12 educational setting, supporting students physical development and mobility to enhance their academic and daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students physical therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student goals and abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate therapy into the school day
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
• Provide consultation and training to school personnel regarding physical therapy techniques and assistive devices

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) with experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of K-12 physical therapy protocols and educational acmodations
• Ability to municate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with school-based special education regulations and documentation
