Join a growing manufacturing team in Loves Park, IL! We’re looking for an experienced Lead Technician to serve as a technical resource for the production team, with strong equipment, troubleshooting, quality, and leadership skills.

Pay: $ 22.00-26.00 DOE

What You’ll Do

• Operate, clean, adjust, and troubleshoot complex processing equipment.
• Serve as a technical resource for the gum processing area.
• Mentor and train Technicians and Senior Technicians on equipment operation, quality, sanitation, changeovers, and equipment care.
• Maintain critical tolerances, centerlines, process settings, and production standards.
• Identify and address product flow issues, jams, build-up, equipment concerns, and quality risks.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Support shift handoffs, daily direction-setting, issue escalation, and follow-up.
• Act as a backup Team Lead when needed.
• Enter production, quality, sanitation, and equipment information into computer systems.
• Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Manufacturing or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong equipment operation and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with GMP, sanitation, quality, and production processes.
• Ability to mentor, train, and coach team members.
• Strong problem-solving, math, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety standards.
• Comfortable using computers and production systems.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to wear required PPE and safely perform physical job requirements.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
