Senior Accountant- Asset Management

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Maintain deep insight into the firm’s day-to-day financial operations

• Monitor and reconcile cash receipts, following up on unresolved items

• Manage the books and records for a group of internal management entities

• Support external and internal audits with timely documentation and analysis

• Prepare financial statements and quarterly reporting packages

• Partner with other finance teams to streamline processes and ensure accurate deliverables

• Coordinate regulatory and tax filings (e.g., NY Commercial Rent Tax, Use Tax, UK VAT, passthrough and state filings)

• Develop and distribute regular financial reports to leadership

• Jump in on special projects and ad-hoc reporting needs as they arise

Senior Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment

• Strong grasp of GAAP and financial reporting

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems

• Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude
