The Role
The Assistant Director of Talent Recruitment is a critical team and strategic leader on both Noble’s Talent and larger People teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Talent, the Assistant Director of Talent Recruitment is a crucial developer, driver and facilitator of Talent’s educator sourcing and recruitment strategy. This role is responsible for partnering with both the Senior Director and the broader Talent Acquisition team in setting the vision and strategy for sourcing and recruiting teachers, school leaders and related service providers for Noble’s 17 campuses in alignment with Noble's broader People Team priorities.
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Talent Recruitment will:
Lead Noble’s Talent Acquisition team - a team of five central office staff dedicated to ensuring all campuses are fully staffed with outstanding, transformation educators ready to deliver on Noble’s six commitments.
Oversee the development, implementation and tracking of Talent’s multi-year recruitment strategy with a goal to ensure all Noble campuses are both fully staffed, and staffed with the highest-quality talent .
Align the work of the Talent Acquisition team with Noble’s three-year strategic plan, driving the execution of key performance goals, relentlessly monitoring progress, interrogating results, and making data-driven adjustments to keep Noble on course and on pace to achieve our ambitious strategic objectives.
Uphold Noble’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by ensuring these principles are integrated into decision-making, policies, and practices in ways that best serve our diverse community of students and staff.
Proactively assess and strengthen candidate screening tools, identifying areas of strength and opportunity and implementing strategies to ensure Noble’s candidate screening is best-in-class.
Oversee and ensure the fidelity of a holistic candidate sourcing and recruitment plan including responsive marketing, candidate and campus communications, job description and maintenance, candidate screening and campus support.
Manage the direct sourcing and recruitment for a portfolio of school-based roles (to be determined based on the profile of the selected candidate) as well as flexing to support sourcing high-need roles as they emerge.
Support Noble’s 17 campus principals, ensuring they have the clarity, guidance, resources, and development necessary to achieve exceptional student outcomes, while demonstrating strong talent development skills - the ability to coach, evaluate, and build the capacity of principals, academic leaders, and teacher-leaders.
Partner with the Senior Director of Talent, the Senior Manager of Hiring and Selection, the Chief People Officer and the broader People Leadership Team to ensure excellence across all People-related departments, aligning team priorities to drive excellent outcomes.
Represent Noble with external stakeholders - including sourcing partners, university leaders, vendors, candidates and community leaders - by leveraging exceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic influence skills to advance the mission and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Serve as a primary thought leader in talent acquisition, pipeline development and maintenance, school leadership, candidate screening and campus-based staffing solutions to Noble’s hiring managers in order to guarantee all campuses are connected with the best possible talent, and receive the best possible service and support.

The ideal candidate for Noble’s next Assistant Director of Talent Recruitment should demonstrate:

A proven record of team leadership and measurable results in alignment to the role’s core functions characterized by curiosity, resiliency, creativity and effective problem solving.
A deep, working understanding of the K-12 sector, including comprehensive experience as a staff member at a K-12 campus.
Comprehensive experience recruiting, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates for K-12 roles.
The ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, listen effectively, and build and maintain trust with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders including: Noble staff, leaders, teachers, students, external partners, vendors and candidates at a variety of levels.
A proven track record of Talent-related functions, including sourcing, screening and hiring staff via a relationship-focused, criteria-based approach.

Minimum Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; strong preference for an advanced degree in education, organizational leadership, or a related field.
At least four years of experience recruiting, sourcing, screening and hiring candidates into multiple roles.
At least four years of experience leading a team, including team-based strategic planning, supervision and performance management, and coaching for performance.
Proven record of developing junior team members.
Exceptional communication skills - able to write with clarity and impact, and speak strategically, persuasively and with care to a variety of stakeholders, and present Noble effectively to diverse audiences.
Compensation
We strive to be among the best places to work in education, and our employee benefits are thoughtfully designed to support us in this ambition. Compensation is commensurate with experience for this role with an expected salary for this position ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 annually.
