RN Clinical Manager
This leadership role oversees and supports a team of RNs and CNAs providing hospice and/or home health services. The RN Clinical Manager ensures staff training, documentation quality, regulatory compliance, and performance evaluations. Key responsibilities include staff supervision, interdisciplinary team meetings, orientation, audits, hiring involvement, and hands-on clinical support as needed. The role also contributes to education, policy development, and risk management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, mentor, and precept assigned clinical staff (RNs and CNAs)
- Perform timely and objective performance evaluations
- Lead new staff orientation and complete orientation checklists
- Ensure clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Participate in clinical and administrative on-call rotation weekends
- Help develop, revise, and evaluate policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) only
- Experience:
- 2+ years in a supervisory/management role
- Hospice, oncology, senior living, or home health background required
- Education: Bachelor’s in Nursing
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Assertive, collaborative, and able to lead experienced clinical staff
