The Quality Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of operations. This position provides quality oversight and support for pharmaceutical aseptic manufacturing processes and the Microbiological and Chemical Analysis Quality Control Laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in monitoring Quality Management Systems including TrackWise.

• Monitor electronic Training Systems and conduct awareness training for manufacturing personnel.

• Act as the quality contact for manufacturing and process Deviations, Complaints, CAPAs, and Change Control processes within due dates using the appropriate Quality Management Tool.

• Conduct, coordinate, and write Root Cause Investigations, and issue interim and final reports for complaints and deviations.

• Perform Quality Oversight of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including routine process observations and media fills, and their documentation.

• Oversee Quality Control Laboratories, review and approve Laboratory Protocols/Reports, and Laboratory Investigations.

• Collaborate and support in defining procedures regarding cGMP production.

• Create, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and issue approved SOPs.

• Issue Batch Records for production and review and approve executed batch records.

• Perform Media Fill Observations, Documentation, and Reports.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of GMP, laboratory procedures, batch record management, data review, deviations, lab documentation, CAPA, investigations, and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in an applied science or engineering field or equivalent work experience.

• 0-2 years of previous lab experience or data review preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Quality systems is preferred.

Work Environment

The position operates in a dynamic work environment with two shifts available: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Most of the day will be spent at a desk, with 30 minutes to 1 hour spent walking on the manufacturing floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Skokie, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.92/hr.
