Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Work Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, with expected mandatory additional hours including weekends

Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr based on skills and experience

Summary/Objective:
Operate Graphics and Finishing print production equipment. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of print graphics production.

Essential Functions:
  • Set-up, Operating and Daily Maintenance of various finishing equipment (ie: Sakurai Screen Press, UV coaters, Kluge Die-cutter and various other department machines) independently for all types of jobs
  • Able to set up basic jobs, troubleshoot and consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency
  • Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards
  • Handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stock jobs.
  • Perform production quality verifications per the standard operating procedures.
  • Data entry of jobs being processed in ERP for labor tracking, material usage and productivity numbers.
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output
  • Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
  • 3 or more years of experience operating graphics, screen printing, and/or advanced bindery/finishing equipment
  • Excellent attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required. Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.

Work Environment:
Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility


Physical Demands:

  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
