You step in—meters out, covers off—trace the issue to a sensor, verify wiring on a 480V circuit, swap the part, recalibrate, and the line hums again. What you’ll take on

• Set up, run, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost/waste goals.
• Disassemble machines, pinpoint root causes, and rebuild with new motors, gearboxes, bearings, and electrical components as needed.
• Diagnose and repair blenders, fillers, conveyors, and other production systems.
• Support building systems—pumps, valves, chillers, compressors, and electrical power.
• Calibrate/repair instrumentation: sensors, controls, scales, metal detectors.
• Team up with outside contractors when specialized work is required.
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with process engineers, operators, and quality to keep throughput high.
• Partner with the Maintenance Manager to standardize components, order parts, and maintain a right-sized spare inventory.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience—or completion of an industrial maintenance program with electrical studies.
• Blueprint interpretation, computer literacy, and clear communication.
• Forklift operation skills (training and evaluation provided on-site).
• Strong, safe use of hand and power tools and test equipment.

• Mechanical troubleshooting across complex equipment.
• Comfort with 120/208/240/480V electrical systems.
• Commercial/industrial electrical diagnosis and repair.
• Pneumatics troubleshooting and repair.
• Preventive/corrective maintenance and equipment restoration.
• Industrial electrical systems know-how.

Physical realities of the job

You’ll stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, work at heights, and at times stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Expect to lift or move 30–55 lbs. Vision needs include close and color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
