Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Communications, Web and Marketing, the incumbent oversees the content management system of the University’s website as well as related platforms. The incumbent serves as a resource person in these areas, collaborates on large-scale website maintenance projects and provides technical and strategic support to the University’s administrative and academic units.
Key Responsibilities
Be the main point of contact and respond to specific requests from internal clients to create and modify University website content. Take part in the redesign as well as the ongoing upgrading of the website, ensuring data entry, changes to content and collaboration with internal clients. Collaborate and take part in meetings with external partners on various initiatives related to changes to the website and the University’s digital platforms. Create digital and traditional marketing assets, especially promotional material, infographics, web banners, and more, to be used on the website and on social media. Meet with various internal clients to determine needs in terms of changes to relevant sections of the website. Ensure that the University’s graphic standards and brand identity are respected on the University’s website, in accordance with the official document entitled University Graphics and brand identity standards. Ensure that website content is published in a timely manner for University events and those of its partners. Update the online boutique as needed. Work with the communications, marketing and recruitment teams on a variety of promotional activities and outreach initiatives. Take part in developing annual plans to support the aspects of web development related to the University’s strategic objectives. Ensure that all projects are done with high quality, attention to detail and in the required timelines. Assist with translating, proofreading, and editing content for the website and social media.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Abilities
Post-secondary diploma or a degree in communications, linguistics or other related fields. Prior experience using a content management system (Wordpress). Prior experience writing content (web, print, social media, electronic mailings, etc.). Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design in a variety of media is an asset. Experience in project management and the ability to plan, prioritize and organize workflow, at times working within tight timelines. Must be independent, self-motivated and self-sufficient. Excellent communication and interpersonal relations skills: establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors and talent. Excellent ability to communicate in English and in French, both oral and written.

Résumé des fonctions
Sous la supervision du Gestionnaire des communications, web et marketing, le titulaire gère le système de gestion du contenu du site Web de l’Université ainsi que les plateformes connexes. Il agit comme personne-ressource dans ces domaines, collabore à des projets d’entretien de sites Web à grande échelle et fournit un soutien technique et stratégique aux unités administratives et académiques de l’Université.
Principales fonctions :
Être le point de contact principal et répondre aux demandes spécifiques des clients internes pour créer et modifier le contenu du site Web de l’Université. Participer à la refonte ainsi qu’à la mise à niveau continue du site web en veillant à l’entrée de données, la modification de contenu et à la collaboration avec les clients internes. Collaborer et participer à des réunions avec les partenaires externes sur différentes initiatives liées aux modifications sur le site web et les plateformes numériques de l’université. Créer des actifs marketing numériques et traditionnels, notamment du matériel promotionnel, des infographies, des bannières Web, et plus encore, qui seront utilisés sur le site Web et les médias sociaux. Rencontrer les différents clients internes afin de déterminer le besoin en termes de changements sur les sections appropriées du site web. S’assurer que les normes graphiques et d’identité de marque de l’Université soient respectées sur le site Web de l’Université, conformément au document officiel des Normes graphiques et d’identité de marque de l’Université. S’assurer que le contenu du site web soit publié dans les délais pour les évènements de l’université et ses collaborateurs. Assurer la mise à jour de la boutique en ligne selon le besoin. Collaborer avec les équipes de communication, de marketing et de recrutement sur une variété d’activités promotionnelles et d’initiatives de rayonnement. Participer à l’élaboration de plans annuels pour soutenir les composantes de développement Web des objectifs stratégiques de l’Université.
