Machinery Painter (2nd Shift)

Rate of Pay: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour (paid weekly).

Overtime Rate: $33.00 to $34.50 per hour.

2nd Shift Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday; 3:45pm to 12:15am.
• Overtime is always available; paid breaks.

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary tasks of the Industrial Machinery Painter involve painting steel machine frames and components within an on-site painting booth.

• Paint the manufactured machinery and components with our "Electro-static" guns.
• Painting takes place in a well-ventilated, well-lighted paint booth within our building.
• The majority of the product to be painted are steel frames.....beams, bars and channels.
• Preparation of surface and materials for painting.
• Clean and maintain paint equipment. Necessary training, equipment, and fit-testing provided.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Previous experience with industrial painting is a plus.
• Sit-down forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Attention to detail.
