Treasury Management Officer-Lakeside Bank

Location: Chicago, Illinois (South Loop)

Department: Treasury Management | FLSA: Exempt

Reports To: SVP, Treasury Management Sales

Position Summary

Lakeside Bank is seeking an experienced Treasury Management Officer responsible for developing, managing and expanding treasury management relationships with business banking and commercial clients in middle‐market, government, property management and commercial real estate. This role combines expertise in relationship management, consultative sales, treasury management products, and payment and liquidity solutions to help clients optimize working capital, mitigate fraud risk, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow treasury management relationships with new and existing commercial clients
• Support Commercial Lenders & Market Managers in prospecting, onboarding, and expanding complex commercial relationships.
• Business development and networking to expand Lakeside Bank’s market presence and seek new opportunities
• Conduct client consultations, demos, and onboarding for treasury products and services
• Identify client cash flow, payments, receivables, and liquidity needs and recommend tailored TM solutions
• Manage Treasury Management implementations from onboarding through go-live, coordinating with internal implementation teams and risk partners
• Cross-sell treasury products to increase treasury management fee income and deepen client relationships
• Maintain a strong understanding of treasury products and market trends
• Resolve client issues and coordinate with internal operations and service teams
• Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue goals
• Participate in bank volunteer initiatives and attend client events as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• 3–10+ years in treasury management, cash management sales, financial operations, or related commercial banking roles (level dependent).
• Demonstrated expertise across core TM products, payment systems, fraud‐mitigation tools, liquidity and account analysis.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and time‐management skills; proven relationship management and consultative selling capability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; familiarity with treasury platforms preferred.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Prior responsibility for Treasury Management revenue growth or sales targets
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is a plus.
• Experience with complex portfolios is plus.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Occasional travel to client sites and internal meetings; extended hours may be required to meet deadlines. Regular activities include talking, hearing, standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 10 lbs.

Lakeside Bank offers a wide variety of benefit programs for our employees. We offer 3 Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical plans (2 PPO & 1 HMO plans). Our PPO Dental plans are offered through Principal. The Bank subsidizes a large percentage of the monthly premiums. We also offer Vision insurance through Principal VSP. Employees are able to select from Single coverage, Employee & Spouse coverage, Employee & Child(ren) coverage or Family coverage levels.

The Bank provides Life/AD&D, Short-term Disability, and Long-term Disability insurance – at no cost to the employee. We offer a variety of supplemental ancillary products such as supplemental life for employee, spouse and/or children, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity and pet insurance. Additional information on each plan can be provided upon request.

SALARY INFORMATION

This is an exempt level or Officer position. Actual compensation varies by level, market, experience, and performance. The compensation range is $75,000 to $180,000.
