Join a well-established precision manufacturer as a full-time, direct-hire CMM Metrology Specialist on second shift. You will work with advanced measurement technology to verify intricate components used in aerospace and other high-precision industries.

A day in this role

• Begin your shift by reviewing prints and GD&T callouts, planning your inspection strategy.
• Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and related inspection equipment to validate complex geometries.
• Conduct thorough dimensional inspections to strict quality standards and customer specifications.
• Capture, analyze, and document results; maintain accurate quality records and reports.
• Partner with production and engineering to troubleshoot nonconformances and close the loop on corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection methods, fixtures, and measurement routines.

What you bring

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing; aerospace or precision machining exposure is a plus.
• Hands-on CMM operation; programming experience preferred (not required).
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Willingness to work a full-time second shift schedule.
