SAP FI/GL Finance Consultant (RTR & Reporting)

CTG is seeking to fill a SAP FI/GL Finance Consultant (RTR & Reporting) opening for our premier client.

Location : Lisle, IL

Duration : 8 months

This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the SAP Finance solutions for clients and serves as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and be trusted business advice with good understanding of and/or hands-on experience in the system. Focuses on designing and configuring solution, and ensuring successful project delivery. Utilizes business and industry knowledge, business processes and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions with the goal of achieving client expectations.

Primary goals include:

• Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy and / or solution development and solution implementation, leveraging knowledge of this area and working with the latest technologies.

• Collaboration and Team Building: Embody core values while delivering project goals in order to build trust with clients and team members, with an emphasis on knowledge, self-awareness, respect, clear communications, inclusivity, curiosity, and innovation in all interactions.

Required skills:

• Strong hands-on in RTR (GL, Journal Entries, Month-End Close, Financial Reporting)

• Deep understanding of SAP FI tables (BKPF, BSEG, ACDOCA)

• Knowledge of FI postings from sub-modules (OTC/MM integration)

• Experience with CDS Views / SAP data extraction

• Proven work in data mapping (FSD/TSD, column-level mapping)

• Ability to explain end-to-end financial data flow (sub-ledger ? GL)

• Nice to have skills:

• Exposure to Azure (ADLS, ADF, Databricks)

• Basic ABAP / CDS development

• Experience in data warehouse / analytics programs

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $145,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
