Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide essential social work services to students in an elementary school setting, supporting children from kindergarten through third grade. The role involves managing a caseload of 20-30 students and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to promote student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Social Worker (SSW) certification required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred

Job Details:

• Location: McHenry, IL
• Duration: August 11, 2025 May 30, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Student Age Group: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
• Caseload: 20-30 students
• Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans to address students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote positive student outcomes
• Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources and services
• Maintain detailed case records and comply with school policies and state regulations
