Role Highlights:

• Pay Rate: $35+/hr BOE
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available
• Schedule: Full-time. Must be flexible in working an off-shift (2nd or 3rd) as required
• Location: Rockford, IL

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of plant equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and cranes
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical systems, such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes
• Fabricate and weld parts from structural steel, aluminum, and other materials to repair and install equipment
• Operate and maintain a range of tools and machinery, including welders, cutting torches, and fork trucks
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and parts used for inventory control

Qualifications :

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (flat, horizontal, and vertical)
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to safely operate industrial equipment, including hoists and fork trucks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
