As a Principal Consultant specializing in Outpatient Pharmacy, you'll be at the heart of that transformation. You'll bring your pharmacy expertise and implementation know-how to help some of the world's largest healthcare organizations design safer, faster, and more efficient pharmacy workflows. From inpatient to outpatient, your work will make a real-world difference for providers and patients alike.
What You'll Do

In this role, you'll lead client engagements from strategy through go-live, serving as a trusted advisor and hands-on expert. You'll:

Partner with pharmacists, technicians, and operations leaders to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for optimization.

Design, configure, and implement Oracle Health's pharmacy solutions - including Medication Manager, Bedrock, and Retail Pharmacy systems.

Translate complex processes into scalable, intuitive solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Lead current-state assessments, guide clients through future-state mapping, and coach them through data collection and testing.

Mentor junior consultants, foster collaboration across project teams, and champion best practices in pharmacy and healthcare IT.

Troubleshoot challenges, align stakeholders, and ensure each implementation drives measurable impact.

Basic Qualifications :

5+ years of combined higher education and related professional experience
-
At least 1 year in HCIT consulting, support, or other client-facing IT roles
-
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-
U.S. citizenship (due to client contracts) and ability to obtain required security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
Experience in system design, configuration, and workflow documentation
-
Hands-on experience with Oracle Health pharmacy tools such as Medication Manager, Bedrock, dcptools, order catalog, and powerplans
-
Deep understanding of inpatient/outpatient workflows including verification, dispensing, automation, inventory, and claims management

Strong communication and presentation skills, with prior Federal deployment experience a plus

Responsibilities
Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and configures detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $71,200 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
