Major Duties :• Assesses existing technology and standards for fit within I/S and architecture. Helps to define the technical platform

• Establishes standards, procedures and methodologies to support new business and IT needs.

• Analyzes technical requirements and develops implementation alternatives

• Responds to partner calls for problem resolution

• May assist in the review of business partner RFPs

• Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyzes information and standard practices to make judgments

• Has limited impact on own work team

• Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines

Knowledge :• Strong analytical and design ability

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with partner

• Formulates/defines specifications and documents architecture programs/systems

• Analytical skills needed to analyze and evaluate technical information, and coordinate projects.

• Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a job discipline

• Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience

• Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions and checks for understanding

Experience :• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four years of experience in information systems application or infrastructure architecture methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Accountable for own contributions

Salary Range:

$73,500 - 117,700 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
