If tackling tricky electrical signals, aligning a motion system to micron‑level precision, and turning a down printer into a production workhorse sounds like your kind of challenge, you’ll fit right in at swissQprint America.

We’re known for high‑precision UV LED flatbed and roll‑to‑roll printers—and for service that mirrors our quality. We’re looking for a technologist who is curious, steady under pressure, collaborative, and comfortable mixing travel with hands‑on technical work.

What will you do?

• Travel across the U.S. 40%–75% of the time to install, commission, maintain, and repair swissQprint systems.
• Own your itinerary—book and manage travel independently and keep any rewards or points.
• Provide remote hotline assistance via phone, email, and tools like TeamViewer when not on site.
• Restore trade‑in equipment and keep demo printers show‑ready at our Elgin, IL location.
• Work closely with 2nd‑level support and engineering teams in Switzerland to drive continuous product improvements.
• Handle service documentation and other administrative steps that ensure seamless processes and reporting.
• Pursue continual learning to maintain and expand your technical qualifications.

Where is the role based?

Full‑time, based in West Dundee, IL, with frequent travel.

What do you need to succeed?

• Preferred background : strong mechanical and electrical foundation; printer installation/service experience is a plus.
• Communication : clear written and verbal skills with a professional, customer‑friendly tone.
• Logistics : live near our facilities or be willing/able to relocate; hold a valid driver’s license.
• Computing : proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
